  • I'm really worrying about the future. =(

    My choices are:

    - a choice of two local unis offering similar ceramic courses. Either
Lowestoft or Colchester. Colchester is only two years whereas Lowestoft is three. Lowestoft course is MORE what I want as the Colchester course speaks about digital workshops which I do enjoy but not that overly interested in. Colchester I know my way about whereas Lowestoft I haven't got a clue. BLEH.
    - a gap year. Get a job in childcare or retail. Save some money. Work on my jewellery full time. Decide whether I really need to go to uni.
    - do the foundation course at the college I'm at. Yes, its pretty much the same as being in second year of National Diploma in art and design however, its another year to gain confidence in drawing and within my art. Also, I can apply to uni through college and have a reference.

I know this is so stupid and the tutors would probably look down on me for admitting this in front of them but I don't want to be apart from David either. For the past couple of months I've just been planning to find a place with David after we both finish our courses. I'm qualified in Childcare and I've got enough experience to work in retail. I also have my jewellery website I'm planning to run soon. I'd be quite happy doing all three and living in a nice flat with David.

I can always do a degree later on in life. A while ago I was planning on doing a degree at home studying to be a social worker.

Blah, I've never been this confused about what I want to in the future. It was always, two years childcare, two years art, three years creative expressive therapies.

I SHOULD JUST BE A BUM.

  • Quick Update

I've been a busy bee this week, so here is a bulletpoint summary...

    - I enjoyed Thursday at college for once. The head of year was really complimentary of my work and made me feel like I'm actually good at art. She encouraged me to go to uni. Too bad deadlines to apply was midnight that night.
    - I want to do a jewellery course at uni.
    - After college I went to see David. Seeing David instantly put me in a good mood.
    - We had a Pizza Hut, and only had to pay £4 each (Sweet!)
    - We watched (500) Days of Summer.
    - We played XBOX360 all morning. Then went for a nice trip in town.
    - I bought two books from Charity shops.
-Today I worked. I said 'fuck' in front of my manager. Fortunately she found it funny.
    - I spent all afternoon working on my jewellery website.
    - Which means I'm closing down my Folksy shop.
    - Everything in my shop is £4 and under.
    -
so please go check it out =]

    Thats it.
